Before we get to pricing...

I love natural images. Those ones that don’t look forced. The ones where everyone is themselves and the connection just instantly pops out. I hate the super posey stuff. So I don’t usually include that in my images at all. I may do a few quick “Christmas card” images at the beginning of our session just to get everyone warmed up. But the majority of our time together will be spent snuggling, playing games, making jokes, dancing, running, and laughing. You’ll snuggle with each other A LOT. My one rule during my sessions is that you have to be physically touching someone else at all times, whether its holding hands, hugging, foreheads together, etc. I thrive off of connection and I want my images to show that.

I want to photograph moments. Not poses.

If you are wanting the super posed “Christmas card” pictures from your session, we may not be the best fit. I am all about capturing authenticity, and posey stuff just doesn’t do that for me.

During our time together, I don’t want. you to worry about being perfect. I want to capture all the details, from the wind in your hair to giggles and tickle fights. I want you to be able to look at your images and remember how you felt in the moment. Because to me, photographs are supposed to evoke emotion, and that is my goal with every session.

So if you’re down to have dance parties, hear lame dad jokes, snuggle in nice and close to your children, and just live in the moment, I think we will be an amazing team and create absolute magic together.

Do I sound like the right new Bff for your family?

Let's chat!

heck yes i do! i live in logan, utah, and i travel down to clients in the salt lake area all the time. i've also got a long list of places that i want to visit and shoot at. so if you want family pictures somewhere super awesome, let's have a chat! i just ask that you pay for plane tickets, hotel, and car rental.

i always am down to meet up in person before we book anything, or even after you book with me! i like to get a feel for who you are as a family, how you want me to tell your story, what's important to you, and answer any questions you have. however i do send out a questionnaire to every client with all this information as well.

ready to book a session with me? yay!! i can't wait to work with you! the first step in booking is to fill out the contact form. once i get that from you, we will go over dates and locations. i'll send out a contract for you to read over and sign, and then an invoice for a 50% non-refundable retainer to get you on my calendar. the remaining balance is due 1 (one) week before our session. if you need to make payment arrangements, i can chat with you about payment plans.

Great question. If you are in Cache Valley Utah, I've got lots of different locations that I love shooting at. I'll talk with you about what kind of look you are going for and I'll recommend some places for you. If you have a special location in mind, don't be afraid to tell me where it is! If I don't think that location will be a good place to shoot, I'll let you know and we can figure out somewhere else to go.

Ah, the dreaded "I don't know what to wear for family pictures" question. I have a certain style that I tend to shoot most often, and I love it when clients wear that style! Long flowy dresses, deep and rich reds and golds mixed in with creams and neutrals, layers, hats, etc. That being said, you wear whatever you are most comfortable in and is your style! I have a welcome guide that I send out that goes over clothing choices before our session. I also have a Pinterest board that you can check out that has tons of inspiration for what to wear! If you have questions about if something would look good or not, don't hestitate to shoot me a message about it! I'm always more than happy to help with clothing choices!

I'm a mom. I totally get this. I cannot get my kids to cooperate with me alllll the time. If you're kids aren't interested in taking pictures, that's not a huge deal. At all. We can just focus on other family members for a bit while said child takes a minute to regroup. I do love to play games and do lots of fun and silly things though, so more often than not, kiddos love to join in and have fun with the rest of the family. I'll do my absolute best to get them to cooperate!

If your kid still just doesn't want anything to do with pictures, and you're ok with Real moments being photographed, I'll get those pictures for you. Sometimes the sweetest and most emotive images come from you wiping away your child's tears, comforting them when they're sad, or just having a private moment with them if they are overwhelmed.

I don't usually have a problem with rescheduling our shoot at all! If something comes up and you're not able to make it on our original date, just shoot me an email. I'll work with you on picking out a new date. I do require a $50 rebooking fee, as I'm often booked up or need to move things around. But I'll do my best to get you the new date and time that you need.

Short answer to this question: NO.

Longer answer to this question is 99.999999999999% of the time NO. I don't give out Raw images under any circumstance, unless the need is absolutely dire or I deem it essential. Think of it this way: would a chef at a restaurant give you just the ingredients to a meal without actually taking the time to cook and prepare it? Probably not. The same goes with my images. I don't give out Raw images because they aren't the final product and don't represent my work at all. You also need specific software to be able to even access Raw file types.

For most sessions my turnaround time is 21 business days. I often have many other sessions, design clients, and a family to take care of. I hope you'll be understanding of that! If you need images faster than the normal turnaround time, I can do that for an additional fee.

I guarantee 40+ hand edited images in your gallery.

All of my images are provided through a personal online gallery. I'll send you a link, and from there you can download your images, share to social media or with friends and family, and order professional quality prints for your home.

Any time of day works for me, but my preferred and most favorite time of day to shoot is golden hour! Golden hour is usually about a half hour before and a half hour after sunset. The lighting then is gorgeous, warm, and creates the most beautiful images. If that time doesn't work for you, let me know and we can shoot at a different time of day!

I accept all major credit cards. Cash and checks are highly discouraged. I hate when checks bounce, and its so awkward having that conversation. If you pay by check, and it bounces, I'll have to charge you a $25 fee. Cash is also discouraged because of sales tax, which many people forget or choose not to pay if they pay with cash.

Since I am a licensed business in the state of Utah, I am required by law to add on sales tax to all of my sessions, design packages, and print products. The money collected for sales tax goes directly to the state; I don't keep any of it. If you don't pay the sales tax, which is more likely to happen if you choose to pay by check or cash, the money for taxes comes out of my pocket. It totally sucks, but its just the way it is.

Do you travel?

Do you meet with clients before booking?

How do I book? What's your payment schedule like?

Where will my session take place?

What do we wear for our session?

What if my kids start crying or don't want to cooperate?

What happens if I need to reschedule?

Do you give out Raw files?

What is your turnaround time? How many images do I get and how do I receive them?

What is the best time of day for our shoot?

What type of payment do you accept? Why is there sales tax on my invoice?
